Emperor's gold or card: who decides?
Hey all,
as you all know, the rule stating the Emperor gets a gold or a card from the person to whom he gives the wooden king, is omitted in the Dutch translation. My question is: Who decides if the Emperor gets a gold or a card? Is the Emperor allowed to choose, or his "victim"? Or is there a rule that states the Emperor only gets a card if his victim has no gold, or vice versa?
